Two women charged following domestic dispute

BLACK RIVER — A couple face charges following a domestic dispute that occurred early Saturday at a Black River residence.

Christina L. Frederick, 27, of 27634 Route 283, was charged by state police Saturday morning with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. She is accused of hitting Terrah K. Frederick, 26, of 13024 Fuller Road, Adams Center, during the argument. Troopers also said Christina Frederick broke some items and subsequently was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Terrah Frederick also was charged with second-degree harassment for having physical contact with the other woman and fourth-degree criminal mischief for allegedly breaking the front door. As the result of the same incident, she also was charged by state police with driving while intoxicated.

Both women were given appearance tickets for LeRay Town Court.
