MASSENA — State police on Monday charged Amanda M. Gilbert, 30, of 272 Andrew St., with second-degree criminal impersonation and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle — more than three suspensions. She was additionally ticketed for inadequate signal lights.

Troopers received a complaint on Feb. 28 from Ms. Gilbert’s sister, Tonya Livingston, of DeKalb, that she had received a notice in the mail telling her that her license was suspended for an unpaid fine. Following an investigation, troopers said that Ms. Gilbert gave them her sister’s name when she was issued two tickets in January.

Ms. Gilbert was issued appearance tickets returnable to Village Court.
