1400Subject entered the station to report she has fallen prey to a scam in which she thought she was hired to be a nanny by a couple that would be arriving shortly from overseas.

A check was sent to her to buy supplies and the extra was to be sent back to the couple. The check turned out to be fraudulent. People are reminded that if unknown people are sending money in the form of a check and asking for money from the check to be sent back then it is a scam.
