Ellisburg- The funeral for Howard G. Clark, 73, of Torrey Hill Rd., Ellisburg, will be 3 pm Saturday, March 15th at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Spring burial will be in Ellisburg Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 12 noon until 3 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Clark passed away Wednesday March 12th at his home.

He was born August 4th, 1940 in the Town of Ellisburg, a son to Arthur and Rena Cornwell Clark. He married Mary E. Stephens August 5th, 1960. Mrs. Clark passed away February 23rd, 2013.

Howard drove milk truck in the mid 1960’s, and worked at the Ellisburg Cemetery in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Mr. and Mrs. Clark operated a dairy farm on Torrey Hill Rd., Ellisburg until 1984. Howard then went to work on the Bill Fulkerson farm for 10 years, and later worked on the Hi Hope farm for several years, retiring to care for his wife.

Howard’s interests were music, dancing, reading and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, H.G. Dale, Deanna E., Jennifer M., and Anissa M., all of Ellisburg. An adopted daughter Lisa M. Henderson, of Henderson. His grandchildren Trevor H., Henderson; Cassandra D., Jonesboro, GA. Several nieces and nephews to include those he helped raise, Keith A. (Janna) Sargent, Texas; Karie A. (William) Livermore, Ellisburg; Rennie E. (Darren) Rechel, Lacey, WA; and Tabitha L. Sargent and her son Thomas J. who reside with the Clark’s and her son Jon B. who resides with his father; many great nieces and nephews.

Howard is also survived by his sisters, Shirley M. Parkinson, Calcium; Elizabeth Reese Foster, Sandy Creek; his sister-in-law, Helen L. Stephens, Ellisburg.

He was predeceased by his brother Gerald A. Clark and a brother-in-law, Charles J. Parkinson.
