Motorists charged with DWI

The following people are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Lucas R. Mitchell, 23, of 37273 Route 12E, Clayton, was charged by state police at 2:07 a.m. Sunday on County Route 189 in the town of Lorraine. Police said Mr. Mitchell was pulled over for driving recklessly and squealing his tires. A breath test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent, police said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication.

n Alejandro R. Narvaez, 25, of 319 W. Lynde St., was charged by state police at 6 p.m. Saturday off Interstate 81 southbound near the Massey Street overpass in the town of Watertown. Mr. Narvaez, who was pulled over for allegedly speeding, had a BAC of 0.08 percent, police said. He also was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was released to his Fort Drum chain of command pending an appearance in Town Court.

n Raymond S. Beutel, 45, of 115 W. Iroquois Ave., left apartment, also was charged by city police with failure to keep right after being stopped at 7:26 p.m. Saturday. He refused a chemical test, police said.

n Francis E. Seymour Jr., 53, of 39236 Creek Road, Theresa, also was charged by city police with failure to keep right at 1:35 a.m. Friday on the 700 block of Mill Street. His BAC was 0.08 percent, police said.

n Brenda L. Ayers, of 26016 Great Gray Court, Evans Mills, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 2:16 a.m. Sunday with failure to keep right. Her BAC was 0.13 percent, deputies said.

n Kharissa M. Danboise, 25, Massena, was charged by state police with felony DWI and resisting arrest early Sunday.

Police said she was stopped on Sissonville Road in Potsdam for inadequate brake lights. She started to scream and tried to get back into her vehicle after troopers told her she was under arrest, they said. Her BAC was listed as 0.16 percent. Ms. Danboise, who has had two previous DWI convictions within 10 years, is being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $2,000 bail.

Charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies with driving while abilities impaired by drugs:

n Thomas C. Trainham, 50, of Lima, also was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving without insurance and operating a mobile phone in a motor vehicle after deputies said he crashed into a vehicle driven by Rebecca A. Moody at the intersection of Route 3 and Salmon Run Mall Road at 10:05 p.m. Saturday. He told police he had taken three Percocets that day.
