Ann F. Burns, of Suffern, NY died March 12, 2014 at age 76. Born May 3, 1937 in Pittsfield, MA to Joseph and Adelaide (McWatters) Burns. She grew up in Radburn, NJ and graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1955.

Ann loved animals and owned Abby’s Pet Sitting Service during her retirement years. She volunteered at the RBARI Animal Shelter and enjoyed Softball and Bowling with her friends for many years. Ann attended Cazenovia College and Secretarial School.

She lived in Watertown, NY for some time. While in Watertown she worked for the March of Dimes and was very proud of working on Bobby Kennedy’s Presidential Campaign.

She worked in the construction industry as an executive secretary in NYC and NJ.

Ann is survived by her cherished friend Pamela Reed as well as her dear friends. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering Saturday March 22, 2014 from 10 to 11am at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern, NY. The morning will conclude with a Memorial Service at 11am. www.wanamakercarlough.com.
