Motorists charged with DWI, related offenses


The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

n Philip D. Green, 60, of 80 Hanlon Road, Lisbon, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI early Saturday. Police said Mr. Green drove off the road on Route 37 in Lisbon. His blood alcohol content was 0.21 percent, they said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

n Justin O. Draper, 35, of 21302B Sycamore Drive, Fort Drum, was charged by city police with aggravated DWI at 2:32 a.m. Saturday on the 1200 block of Washington Street. His BAC was 0.19 percent, police said.

n Julia A. Alford, 30, of 5694 Log London Road, Mannsville, was charged by city police at 3:50 a.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Arsenal Street. Her BAC was 0.15 percent, they said.

n Marcie F. Travers, 46, of 1048 State St., Clayton, was charged by city police at 11:51 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of Coffeen Street. Her BAC was 0.15 percent, they said.

n Gloria R. Hensley, 31, of 33340 Whittaker Road, Carthage, was charged with aggravated DWI by state police at 1:40 a.m. on State Street, Watertown. Her BAC was 0.23 percent, they said.

n Van W. Price, 35, of 10224 Fourth Armored Division Drive, Fort Drum, was charged at 2:33 a.m. on Route 11, town of LeRay, after he allegedly was found traveling 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. His BAC was 0.09 percent, police said.

n Cody R. Weinkauf, 17, of 835 East Road, Heuvelton, was charged by Ogdensburg city police with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol early Saturday.

Police said he was pulled over at Green and Park streets after he failed to yield to the right of way at a stop sign. Mr. Weinkauf’s BAC was not available.

Police said related to Mr. Weinkauf’s arrest, Ryan E. Kelly, 20, of 2191 Kelly Road, Rensselaer Falls, was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, unlawful possession of marijuana and trespassing.

Police said Mr. Kelly was arrested at the same intersection at the same time, but would not disclose the relationship between the two arrests.
