The New Visions Class of 2014 is encouraging youths in grades seven through 12 to join in a dance marathon to benefit the Childrens Miracle Network of Northern New York at Samaritan Medical Center.
The event will be held from noon to midnight April 26 at the Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center, 1291 Faichney Drive. All participants must preregister for the glow-themed event and raise a minimum of $30 each.
The goal is to raise $20,000 for the local CMN affiliate, which provides funding to help sick or injured children in the north country.
In addition to dancing, there will be games, tournaments and activities. Lunch and dinner will be provided.
To enroll in the event, call the CMN office at 785-4053, or visit www.samaritanhealth.com.
