HARRISVILLE- Eleanor Mallette, 88, Palm Bay Florida, formerly of Harrisville, died Tuesday morning in Florida.
Calling hours will be held Friday March 28th at the Adirondack Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held in the Spring in St. Francis Solonus Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adirondack Funeral Home, Harrisville.
Eleanor was born in ST. Regis Falls, May 12, 1925 to Oscar and Barbara Haynes Goodrow. She graduated from St Regis Falls High School. She married Gerald L. Mallette in 1946. She was a homemaker.
She was a loving wife and mother. She loved her flowers and was well known for homemade doughnuts. She always had a kind word for everyone and will be surely missed.
She is survived by four children, Kevin J, Florida, Donald G. (Thelma), Harrisville, Pamela J. (Larry) Newcombe, Whitehall and Cathy A.( Kenneth) Smith, Fort Ann. She also has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She has two sisters, Helen Chambers, North Lawrence and Agatha Parker, St. Regis Falls.
She is predeceased by three brothers, Howard, James and Donald.
