POTSDAM — State police on Thursday charged Gabriel T. Houle, 42, Norfolk, with two counts of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, because he had children in the vehicle, misdemeanor DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Troopers said that at 5:07 p.m. on Morley-Potsdam Road, Mr. Houle crashed his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more constitutes proof of intoxication. He had an 11-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy as passengers, police said. No additional information was immediately available.

He was arraigned in Canton Town Court and released under probation supervision.
