Gary D. Holland, 77, passed away on March 2, 2014 in Richland, Washington. He was born in Ogdensburg, NY on November 26, 1936 to Carl and Doris (Burwell) Holland, who precede him in death. Also preceding him in death are brothers Robert and Jack.

Gary grew up and attended school in New York before moving to Washington in 1961. He worked for numerous car dealers, Hanford contractors, and NAPA, before retiring and going to work part-time at Canyon Lakes Golf Course. He enjoyed watching the Seahawks, Mariners, and his grandchildren’s activities. He was an avid golfer, bowler, hunter, and dancer.

Gary served in the Army from 1955-57. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion.

Gary is survived by brother Oakley (Tudy) of NY, son Rod (Connie), son Dan (Cheryl), nephew Kerry, six grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, finance Evelyn, loyal companion Scooter, and numerous special friends.

The family held a celebration of life at Canyon Lakes Golf Course on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.
