Bonnie Eppolito has been promoted to the position of director of development at WPBS-DT.

Ms. Eppolito joined WPBS-DT in 2012 as corporate support account executive and has experience in marketing and broadcasting. In her new role, she is responsible for development of major and planned giving initiatives for the public television station.Clifford R. Davis, a financial adviser with Northwestern Mutual Financial, Watertown, has qualified for membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable, an international, independent association of nearly 19,000 leading life insurance producers.

Membership indicates sales and service achievement as well as adherence to strict ethical and production requirements. Mr. Davis has been with Northwestern Mutual since 1992. He holds the ChFC, CLU, CLTC and CASL designations.Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP has named transactions attorney Gary T. McDermott a partner in the firm’s Charlotte, N.C., office.

Mr. McDermott specializes in counseling developers and property owners in complex commercial real estate transactions. He will help financial institutions resolve lending disputes and provide guidance to companies in general corporate matters.

A Watertown native, Mr. McDermott is the son of Mary Ann Sawyer, Watertown, and Gary R. McDermott, Henderson. He is a 1994 graduate of Watertown High School, a 1998 graduate of SUNY Oswego and a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.
