The following motorists are charged with DWI and related offenses:
n Christiana J. Deforge, 22, of Canton, was charged by Potsdam village police early Friday morning. Police said Ms. Deforge was stopped on Broad Street in Potsdam for driving without tail lights. Ms. Deforges blood alcohol content was 0.17 percent, they said.
Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent of higher constitutes proof of intoxication.
n Joshua R. LaDuke, 33, of Massena, was charged by state police early Saturday morning.
Police said Mr. LaDuke was stopped on State Route 37 in Massena for an insufficient signal. His BAC was 0.13 percent, they said.
n Jacob S. Monnat, 27, of 5592 Highland Ave., Lowville, was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies at 2:02 a.m. Saturday after a traffic stop. He had a BAC of 0.14 percent, deputies said. He was issued an appearance ticket to Town of Watertown Court.
n Benjamin E. VanTassel, 27, Three Mile Bay, was charged by state police at 10:39 p.m. Friday in the town of Lyme. His BAC was 0.08 percent, they said. He additionally was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and criminal possession of a weapon for being in possession of a switchblade knife.
n Natahsa R. Gilmore, 28, Evans Mills, was charged by state police at 2:54 a.m. Saturday after a traffic stop in the town of LeRay. Her BAC was 0.14 percent, police said.
n Jonathan D. Wagoner, 22, Clayton, was charged with aggravated DWI at 6:34 a.m. Saturday by state police after a traffic stop on Route 3 in the town of Clayton. His BAC was not available. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher. He was issued an appearance ticket.
n James L. Harried Jr., 25, of P785 Oswego Ave., Fort Drum, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs by Watertown city police at 2:24 a.m. Saturday in the vicinity of 300 W. Main St. He additionally was charged with inadequate headlights and refusing a prescreening test.
