WATERTOWN — After allegedly refusing to leave a High Street residence, a Syracuse man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass.

Henry D. Townsend, 18, was arrested by city police on the 300 block of High Street after he reportedly refused to leave an enclosed porch at the residence of Arthur W. Smith, 325 High St., at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday.

He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building for processing and released on $250 police bail pending arraignment in City Court.
