Jill and Morgan Girardi finished with four points apiece, and Lauren Girardi registered 10 saves to lead the host Watertown High girls lacrosse team to an 11-7 Frontier League victory over Carthage on Wednesday.

Olivia Miles scored twice and Alyssa Barrett provided two goals and two assists for the Cyclones (2-0 overall, 1-0 Frontier League).

Hannah Millich, Peyton Romig and Mackenzie Kidder scored two goals apiece for Carthage (1-1, 0-1).

GENERAL BROWN 17, IHC 3

Bryanna Fazio generated nine points, including four goals, to spark the Lions past the Cavaliers in a Frontier League opener for both schools in Dexter.

Emily Amell tallied four goals and Cayla O’Connor scored three goals for General Brown (1-1, 1-0), which led 13-1 at halftime.

Jill Primicias contributed two goals and an assist and Hannah Pebbles scored two goals for the Lions. Rachel O’Brien scored both goals for IHC (1-2, 0-1).

BOYS LACROSSE

WATERTOWN 12, INDIAN RIVER 5

Bradley McKinney scored six goals to power the Cyclones to a FL “A” Division win over the Warriors in Philadelphia.

Noah Taylor tallied two goals and four assists, and Eric Soderquist supplied two goals and three assists for Watertown (2-0, 1-0).

Connor Brown led Indian River (1-2, 0-2) with three goals.

GENERAL BROWN 23, LOWVILLE 2

Cole Johnson (five goals, three assists) and Jake Purvis (three goals, five assists) each totaled eight points as the Lions rolled to a “B” Division triumph in Dexter in the league opener for both teams.

Ryan Lamon contributed four goals and two assists for General Brown (2-0, 1-0), which tallied the game’s first 14 goals.

Colton Erb, Ben Hanson and Luke Rogers each scored two goals and assisted on another and Trevor Hughes and Kyle O’Connor each scored a pair of goals.

Robert Campany scored scored two goals for the Red Raiders (0-1).
