Mother of teen DWI victim to speak Saturday in Lowville

LOWVILLE — The mother of a teen who was killed in 2004 in an alcohol-related crash in Onondaga County will share her story here Saturday morning.

Marianne Angelillo, a Skaneateles woman who wrote a book about her experiences titled “Sharing My Stones,” will deliver a one-hour presentation at the outset of an 8:45 a.m. victim-impact panel session in the Lowville Academy and Central School large group instruction room.

Following a break, Lewis County District Attorney Leanne K. Moser and family members of other victims of drunken drivers will present the rest of the program.

The public is invited; non-mandated attendees are free to leave after Mrs. Angelillo’s talk.

Anyone planning to attend or seeking more information can call Sheryl Hutton, Lewis County STOP-DWI coordinator, at 486-9388 or e-mail
