Potsdam Central girls lacrosse team blanks OFA


POTSDAM - The Potsdam Central varsity girls lacrosse team relayed a 6-0 halftime lead into a 13-0 NAC win at home over OFA on Tuesday.

Senior Annette Rishe led the Lady Sandstoner attack with eight goals and three assists. Sophomore Kalie Grant chipped in four goals and three helpers while Matisyn Beamer accounted for the other goal while Paige McCabe, Hannah Drecshel and Ali McFadden each chipped in solo assists.

Katelyn Bloom made three saves backstopping the shutout while Marissa Foster turned aside six shots working the crease for OFA (1-1).

Off to a 3-0 start, the Lady Sandstoners are slated to host Canton this evening at 6:30 p.m. at their turf field.

Canton outscored Heuvelton 10-7 in the lone other NAC game played on Tuesday.
