WATERTOWN — A Carthage woman was arrested after she threw a bedpan full of urine at a nurse at Samaritan Medical Center, city police said.

Tracey E. Rivera, 28, of 32787 Route 3, Carthage, was charged at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday with second-degree harassment.

Police said that on March 23, at about 5:45 a.m., Ms. Rivera threw the plastic bedpan at a registered nurse while being treated in the hospital’s emergency room. The nurse was soaked in urine, police said.

Ms. Rivera was released with an appearance ticket to City Court.
