WATERTOWN — The Sci-Tech Museum of Northern New York, 154 Stone St., will extend its operating hours next week for the April school break.

From April 14 to 19, exhibits will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will hold three hands-on science and technology workshops for children.“Parts of a Flower” is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday for ages three to eight; “Introduction to Ham Radio” at 11 a.m. April 16 for ages 10 and older and “Parts of a Plant” at 10:30 a.m. April 17 for ages four to nine.

Workshop fees are $6 per person or $3 for members, and include admission to exhibits on the day of the workshop. Workshop registration must be made in advance by calling the museum at 788-1340.
