NORFOLK — State police on Tuesday charged Jesse L. Anson, 33, of 290 County Route 18, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and second-degree criminal contempt: disobeying court a court order.

Troopers allege that at 7:27 p.m., Mr. Anson was stopped on Route 310 in the town of Norfolk for a brake light an inadequate stop lamp and was found to have a suspended license. During the traffic stop, troopers also found Mr. Anson had a person in the vehicle which was in violation of an order of protection that directed him to stay away from that individual.

Mr. Anson was picked up by a third party and was issued tickets returnable to Norfolk Town Court.
