PULASKI—State police arrested a 15-year-old Pulaski boy on a felony grand larceny charge and misdemeanor criminal mischief after police said the boy smashed a window and stole a rod and reel.

The boy, who was not named because of his age, allegedly smashed out the left rear window of Anthony Gugino’s vehicle about 2:30 p.m. March 27. Mr. Gugino works as a fishing guide and had parked his vehicle on Bridge Street while he was down at the Salmon River with a client, police said.

The stolen rod was valued at $500 and the reel valued at $1,200.

The boy was arrested at 8 Niagara St. at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday on the charges of fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He is to appear in Oswego County Family Court to answer the charges.
