LOWVILLE Two men in Lewis County Court on Friday were placed on one-year interim conditions of probation, with terms of sentencing to be determined partly by their conduct over the next year.
James J. Burns, 37, Dicob Road, was put on interim probation after pleading guilty to felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was accused of driving while drunk with a child in the vehicle July 20 on Snell Road in the town of Watson.
Joseph C. Dalpe, 56, of 3109 East Road, Boonville, was put on interim probation after being arraigned and pleading guilty to a charge of first-degree criminal contempt. He was accused of, on Jan. 24 in the town of Leyden, violating an order of protection by repeatedly yelling at Linda Dalpe and taking her phone away.
Also in Lewis County Court on Friday:
David A. Mastro, 33, of 7854 Bailey Road, Glenfield, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay $250 in restitution that was already paid and $50 in court fees on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief, to which he pleaded guilty Feb. 7. Mr. Mastro was accused of damaging a 2000 Dodge Intrepid belonging to Regina Wallace on July 29 in the town of Watson.
Edward Bennett, 29, of 2954 Route 13, Pulaski, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and pleaded guilty to the charge. Sentencing was set for June 6. Mr. Bennett was accused of, on June 20, stealing wood belonging to Peter Herman in the town of Osceola.
Jeffrey P. Rocker, 45, of 3117 Canal St., Port Leyden, was arraigned on charges of felony DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and insufficient turn signal and pleaded not guilty. His case was adjourned to April 25. He was stopped Feb. 15 on Canal Street in Port Leyden.
Shane M. Hayes, 37, of 6174 Blue St., Glenfield, had his case of felony aggravated DWI adjourned to May 9. Mr. Hayes was stopped Aug. 25 on Main Street in Glenfield.
Christina Doner, 22, Williamstown, had her case of third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine adjourned to May 2. She was accused of possessing equipment and drug-making materials May 7 at a West Turin residence.
Michael A. Townsend, 55, of 6621 Baldwin Road, Glenfield, had sentencing in his case of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon adjourned to April 25. Mr. Townsend was accused of, on Nov. 15 in the town of Watson, having 18.5 ounces of marijuana and a Remington shotgun. He pleaded guilty to the charges Feb. 28.
