The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
n Jacy V. Charleston, 24, of 48 Churchill Ave., Massena, was charged by Massena village police early Saturday.
Police said Mr. Charleston backed up into another vehicle on Andrews Street, causing damage, but left the scene.
Mr. Charleston had a suspended license and also was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. His blood alcohol content was not available.
n Amber M. Sharlow, 31, of DeKalb, was charged by state police early Sunday.
Police said she was driving on County Route 21 in Hermon when she was pulled over for an illegal U-turn. Her blood alcohol content was 0.14 percent, police said. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication.
n Brenton J. Decker, 29, of 1783 Route 184, Heuvelton, was charged by state police with felony DWI and second-degree harassment Saturday night. Police said Mr. Decker was told to leave the property at 1783 Route 184, Oswegatchie. As he was backing out of the driveway, police said, Mr. Decker hit a mailbox and left the scene.
He is being held at St. Lawrence County jail, Canton. His BAC was not available.
