The Strikers honored at Iroquois Bowling Banquet


The Strikers sponsored by Nig’s Tavern captured first place in the Iroquois League with a 78-42 mark with 50.153 pins.

Dawn Wells, Angie Caufield, Lori LaRue and Brittany Kenyon were the champions followed by Simple Pleasures consisting of Jackie Martin, Jamie Bromley, Shelly Sharpe, Olivia Martin and Amy Morley with a record of 76-44 and 49,892 pins. Deb’s Team, in honor of Debbie Abel, finished third with 75-45 record and 52,891 pins and was composed of Sherry Ashley, Cheryl Sayer, Chris Smith and Lee Mashaw.

Finishing in fourth place was Arnie’s Custom Printing with a record of 64-56 and 42,111 pins and the was composed of Deb O’Marah, Lori Montroy, Sue Grant and Deb Ormansen.

During the season, Lori Nason posted the best average while Erin McCormick was honored with the Most Improved Award. Sherry Ashley converted the most splits.

The memorial Debbie Abel/Nancy Hebert Kindness Award went to Debbie Ormasen with Donna Garvey and Susie Garvey earned runner ups.

On Wednesday, at 6pm the Queen of the Hill Bowling Tournament will take place for Iroquois Bowlers that qualified in the 2013-2014 season.
