POTSDAM — Caroline Bailey three goals and assisted on two others to lead the St. Lawrence University women’s lacrosse team to a 10-8 win over Clarkson University in a Liberty League game on Wednesday.

The Saints (5-6 overall, 3-2 conference) built an 8-2 lead by halftime. Hannah Calvelli also scored three goals for SLU. Carly VanTassel scored twice and Kiera Taussig and Chloe Knapp also scored for the Saints.

Abby Doyle led Clarkson (4-9, 1-4) with three goals.

Christine Wright tallied two goals and Cassie Grace, Paige Fayette and Jessica Budaj also scored.

SUNY CANTON 15, SUNYIT 5

The Kangaroos (8-4) took a 12-3 lead by halftime to defeat SUNYIT in a nonconference game in Canton.

Keeley Rice paced SUNY Canton with five goals.

Hannah Christiansen scored three goals and Robyn Carroll, Joelle Percy and Nikki Holmes each provided two. Tressa Goolden also scored for SUNY Canton.

Nicole DiPiazza scored four of the five goals for SUNYIT (5-3), with Ana Exposito also scoring.

SUNY OSWEGO 13, SUNY POTSDAM 6

Erannan Shattuck scored four goals with two assists to lead SUNY Oswego (9-3, 2-2) past the Bears in a SUNYAC game in Potsdam.

Candace Tarana scored three goals for the Lakers.

Emily Lange, and Lindsey Eggers each tallied two goals and Mackenzie Kjerstad and Esther Gabriel scored once.

Margaret Wall led the Bears (4-8, 0-5) with two goals. Michaela Cole, Bailey Weigel, Hannah Keggins and Bri McClusky also scored for SUNY Potsdam.

MEN’S LACROSSE

ST. LAWRENCE 10, SUNY POTSDAM 5

St. Lawrence (8-3) rallied from a 4-1 deficit to defeat the Bears in a nonconference game in Potsdam.

Pierson Fowler led the Saints with three goals. Charlie Duprey and Conor Healey each scored two goals with two assists for SLU. Tommy Hovey and Charles Hurlock also scored for the Saints.

Ed Doherty lead the Bears (8-4) with two goals. Rob Kunz, Pat Bonafede and Derek Frost also scored for SUNY Potsdam.

SUNY OSWEGO 21, SUNY CANTON 6

A six-goal first quarter lifted the Lakers (6-6) during a nonconference contest in Oswego.

Nick Giampaolo scored four goals for the Lakers.

Cody Hoose, Torry Whitcher, Jordan Michele and Jimmy Cordon each produced two.

Tanner Pratt led SUNY Canton (3-7) with three goals. Garrett DiTullio, Devin Gruneisen and Trevor Wright added single goals.
