ROOSEVELTOWN — State police on Friday charged Stephanie L. Benedict, 32, of 19 County Route 45, Apt. 4, with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Troopers said they went to Ms. Benedict’s residence at 2:29 a.m. following a complaint from a third party regarding a domestic altercation. Upon arrival, troopers said, they observed a vehicle pulling into the driveway and found Ms. Benedict behind the wheel, under the influence and with a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.

Ms. Benedict was issued tickets for Massena Town Court.
