ATTEMPTED PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Zachary J. Jeske, 19, of Binghampton and Kollin L. Sullivan, 22, of Victor with attempted petit larceny at 2:35 a.m. Saturday after they were allegedly found in possession of several food items that they hid on themselves when patrols responded to a report of several males being disorderly at Stewart’s on Maple Street. They were released on appearance tickets for May 2 in Potsdam Village Court.

Village police also charged Nicholas J. Mann, 18, of Saranac Lake with criminal possession of a forged instrument during the same incident after he was allegedly found in possession of a forged New York state driver’s license. He will answer the charge May 2 in Potsdam Village Court.

0004Patrol initiated a traffic stop on Maple Street and issued a verbal warning for a headlight equipment violation.

0031Patrols responded to Washington Street and issued a verbal warning for a noise violation.

0217Patrols responded to the Stewart’s Shop on Maple Street for several males being disorderly.All three Clarkson University students were arrested and transported to the police station where they were processed, two for attempted petit larceny and one for criminal possession of a forged instrument, and released to reappear in Potsdam Village Court on 05/02/2014.

0255Patrol responded to the report of a disorderly male outside an apartment on Market Street.The male was counseled and released.

1311Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to Lawrence Avenue for an elderly female who has fallen, unable to gain entry into the apartment.

1343Potsdam Rescue and Patrols dispatched to Bagdad Field for two injuries; male with shoulder injury and a female victim of a dog bite

2155Patrols received a report of an erratic driver on Market Street.
