WATERTOWN Marlon R. Dreckette, 26, of 832 S. Hamilton St., Apt. 4, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Sunday after a traffic stop on the 100 block of Duffy Street.
City police said Mr. Dreckette was found with four individually packaged quantities of Ecstasy and one small clear baggie of marijuana tucked into the waistband of his pants.
Mr. Dreckette identified himself to police as Andrew Clark, with the same date of birth as his own. He did this, police said, after he was warned of the consequences and advised that he would be arrested for false personation if he did so.
He was charged with false personation, as well as seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 police bail before arraignment in City Court. After his arraignment, he was returned to the jail on $1,000 cash bail.
