WATERTOWNA 2-year-old girl suffered a cut on her head that required one staple to close when a stereo speaker fell on her head Saturday night.
City police said James M. Borders, 22, of 708 Franklin St., pushed a man backwards inside his residence, causing him to knock into a stereo speaker, which then fell on the girls head.
Mr. Borders also was charged with grabbing his brother, David A. Carrow, same address, by the throat and applying pressure, causing him to have difficulty breathing.
He was arrested at the residence at 10:19 p.m. and charged with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 cash bail.
