WATERTOWN — Robert D. Rhea, 20, of 435 S. Hycliff Drive, Apt. 644D, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment after city police said he refused to let a woman leave his apartment Saturday night.

He was accused of blocking the doorway for about 10 minutes, preventing Desiree A. Sanders, of 829 Water St., from leaving. When she attempted to get past him, he grabbed her by the arms and pinned her to the ground for 10 to 15 minutes, police said.

He was arrested at his apartment at 8:44 p.m. and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket to City Court.
