GLENFIELD — The American Red Cross will open a bulk distribution site for flood victims at 4 p.m. today at the Glenfield Fire Department, 6229 Blue St.

Volunteers will distribute cleanup kits and water from 4 to 6 p.m. The kits include a broom, mop, bleach bucket, gloves, trash bags and other supplies that will aid in flood cleanup.

Red Cross Mental Health Services volunteers will assess and tend to emotional needs and provide information on coping skills needed during a disaster. Red Cross caseworkers also will work with residents to establish long-term plans for recovery.
