Earline F. Longway, 89, formerly of Clayton, passed away January 6, 2014 at Country Manor Nursing and Rehab. Centre, Carthage.
Calling hours will be held on , Saturday, April 26 from 10AM to noon at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton followed by the funeral service at noon with Rev. Arthur LaBaff, of St. Marys Church, officiating. Burial will be in Depauville Cemetery.
Earline was born in Gouverneur on July 14, 1924, daughter of Earl and Bernice Kennedy Leonard, and she graduated from Gouverneur High School.
On October 3, 1942 she married William C. Longway at St. James Church, Carthage.
She had worked at Grays Wholesale, Clayton for several years.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Carl F. and Nancy, Auburn and William E., Watertown; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and her sister, Lorna Rouse, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, April 2001, daughter, Deborah M. Churchill, May 2010, and daughter-in-law, Sharon, May 1991.
