WATERTOWN City police said a Watertown man broke into Guilfoyle Emergency Medical Services and stole a purple T-shirt Thursday afternoon.
John Lichty, 49, of 847 LeRay St., Apt. 404, was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, and petit larceny.
Police said Mr. Lichty entered 438 Newell St. at 12:41 p.m. Thursday, while the building was locked and alarmed. He did not have permission to be inside the building.
The value of the T-shirt is not yet known.
He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $15,000 bail.
