LISBON State police on Monday charged Travis S. Cota, 32, of 7005 County Route 10, with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Troopers said Mr. Cota allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent when he drove off Pray Road at about 10 p.m. and struck an embankment. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.
Mr. Cota was not injured in the crash. He also was cited with failure to keep right, texting while driving, failure to notify DMV of a change of address and no hands on steering wheel. He was issued tickets for Town Court.
