BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police said Potsdam Village Police picked up Jenna L. Lamar, 28, of 16 Market St., Potsdam, on a bench warrant at 1:40 p.m. Friday. She was turned over to village police, arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released on her own recognizance to reappear April 29. The warrant had been signed April 4 after Labar failed to appear on a petit larceny count that had been pending since April 2013. Labar told the court she had missed her court appointments because she had been in a treatment program.

UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Elizabeth D. Salgado, 47, of Woodlawn Avenue, Massena, for unsafe backing, operation of a vehicle with no insurance and leaving the scene of a property damage accident following a hit and run accident. Police said Salgado struck a parked vehicle registered to Amy Calderon in front of 43 Elm St.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Rachel L. Smith, 27, of Mechanic Street, Massena, for speed in zone (46/30 mph zone) at 3:33 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on the South Raquette River Road.
