The following motorists are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
n Peter J. Lawless, 48, of 98 Maple Ave., Edwards, was charged by state police Friday night. Police said he was stopped on Curtis Road in Russell for crossing the center line.
Mr. Lawlesss blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes proof of intoxication under state law.
n Gary T. Doney, 34, of 19702 Route 12F, Watertown, was charged by state police at 11:40 p.m. Friday at a sobriety checkpoint on County Route 190, Brownville. His BAC was 0.11 percent, police said.
n Zachary P. Bibbins, 22, of Warner Robins, Ga., also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies at 1:48 a.m. Saturday on State Street, Watertown, with having insufficient taillamps. His BAC was 0.12 percent, deputies said.
n Katina M. Erwin, 39, Hermon, also was charged by Potsdam village police with second-degree harassment Saturday evening. Police said she was arrested for harassing another person at ½ Tons Bar on Market Street. After being released, police said, she later was observed driving with illegal window tint and was stopped on Larnard Street. Her BAC was 0.16 percent, they said.
n Dawn M. Daniels, 53, Hermon, was charged by state police Saturday night. Police said she was driving on the shoulder of Route 58 in Fowler before crossing the center line. Her BAC was 0.10 percent, they said.
n Everette W. Lavancha, 40, Harrisville, was charged by state police early Sunday after he failed to keep right on Railroad Street in the town of Diana, police said. His BAC was unavailable because he refused to take a breath test, they said.
n Calvin O. Thomas, 23, of 19 County Route 45, Massena, also was charged by state police with aggravated unlicensed operation early Sunday. Police said he was stopped on Route 37 in Bombay for inadequate plate lamps and failure to signal a turn.
Mr. Thomas, whose license was suspended, had a BAC of 0.18 percent, police said. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or higher.
n David C. Montpetit, 66, Ogdensburg, was charged by state police Saturday evening. Police said he was stopped on State Street in Ogdensburg for crossing the center line. His BAC was 0.15 percent, they said.
n Dana R. Connell, 49, Ogdensburg, was charged by state police early Sunday. Police said she was stopped on Pine Street in Ogdensburg for failing to stop at a stop sign. Her BAC was listed as 0.11 percent.
n Jason P. Edwards, 33, of 1210 Superior St., Apt. 3, Watertown, was charged by Watertown city police with aggravated DWI at 1:27 a.m. Sunday after being observed speeding on Coffeen Street. His BAC was listed at 0.21 percent.
n Pamela C. Young, 30, of 511 Cooper St., Watertown, was charged by city police with aggravated DWI and improper lane use at 2:28 a.m. Sunday on Cooper Street. Her BAC was 0.18 percent, police said.
Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:
n Riki A. Longton, 46, of 1640 State St., also was charged by Watertown city police with performing an unsafe lane change at 12:52 a.m. Sunday after crashing into a ditch on the 500 block of Thompson Boulevard, police said. They said Ms. Longton told them she was reaching for her cellphone to send a text at the time of the crash.
