POTSDAM - The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce Spring Luncheon is set for noon May 14 at the Potsdam Town & Country Club, state Route 56 South, Potsdam.

Today’s Hair & Day Spa will be honored as the business of the year, and milestone anniversaries will be recognized for MacFadden Dier Leonard, Bicknell’s, Agway, Community Bank, Blevins Motors, Argent’s, Dott Realty, Josie’s Pizza, North Country This Week, Dr. Jay Schechter, Ponderosa, Community Performance Series, Kiwanis Club of Potsdam, CJ’s Kegs & More, Northwood Outfitters, The Lobster House, White Pillars, Century 21 New Beginnings, Dr. Stacey Howlett, St. Lawrence Health Initiative,The Tile Company, The Alchemistress, Asian Buffet & Mongolian Grill, Bows & Bandanas, KleanBlinds, Mh Studios and Renew Architecture & Design. The milestones range from five to 75 years in business.

Assorted wraps/sandwiches, pasta primavera, tossed salad, fruit salad, water/coffee/tea, and cake for dessert will be on the buffet menu. The cost of the luncheon is $20.

The spring luncheon also marks the ending of the chamber’s Silent Auction, which has been running since April 9. Bids can still be submitted until 2 p.m. May 14.

Items in the auction include many gift certificates to area businesses and some nice products. These products are currently are on display in the chamber office window at 24 Market St. The list of 51 items can be seen on the chamber’s Facebook page. A copy of the list is also available at the chamber office or by request via email from potsdamchamber@slic.com.
