Pulaski man accused of knife threat during domestic dispute

PULASKI — Oswego County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason M. Clary, 31, of 4922 N. Jefferson St., Pulaski, on a felony weapons charge and other counts after an alleged domestic incident early Saturday.

Deputies said Mr. Clary pushed his way into a town of Richland residence at 2:17 a.m. after the female resident, who wasn’t identified, feared he would kick in the door. He then wrestled her to get her cellphone away from her as she tried to call for help, deputies said.

After the woman retrieved the phone, Mr. Clary threatened her with a knife as she tried to call for help again, deputies said. They said the incident occurred in the presence of a minor.

He then left the residence and walked away when a third party arrived. He was apprehended by state police down the road from the home.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned in Mexico Town Court and sent to the Oswego County jail, Oswego, without bail.
