SYRACUSE Syracuse Universitys second year of mens basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference will feature home and road contests with rivals Boston College, Duke, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech and a home encounter with new league member Louisville. Conference opponents for the next two seasons were recently announced. The 2014-15 season will be the first of a 12-year schedule rotation.
Schools that are not traditional partners will play five years at home only, five years on the road only and two years at both home and on the road. Syracuses partners are Boston College and Pittsburgh. This coming season, home games only will be against Florida State, Miami, Virginia and Wake Forest in addition to Louisville. SU will play road games in 2014-15 against Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Notre Dame. In 2015-16, the Orange plays Boston College, Pittsburgh, Florida State and North Carolina home and away. Home games will be vs. Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech. The road games are at Duke, Louisville, Miami, Virginia and Wake Forest.
Dates and times for this years games will be announced in early September.
