Man accused of stepping on woman, pushing child during domestic incident


WATERTOWN — Eugene Muhammad Jr., 48, of 123 S. Meadow St., Lower Apt., was being held without bail after he stomped on the left foot of Anne M. Walton, same address, at about 9:15 Friday, causing a cut on her foot, police said. He also was charged with grabbing an 8-year-old boy and pushing him down onto stereo equipment, causing a bruise to his forehead.

Both Ms. Walton and the boy have refrain-from orders of protection against Mr. Muhammad.

He was charged with aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony, first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, and endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault, both misdemeanors.

He was arraigned in City Court and held at the jail.
