Lisbon man charged with false personation

LISBON — State police on Monday charged Mikael A. Putney, 25, Lisbon, with false personation, a class B misdemeanor.

Troopers said that on March 8 at the intersection of county routes 28 and 21, they responded to a property damage accident involving a possible driving while intoxicated. When they arrived at the scene, troopers said, they found two men passed out in a vehicle in a field. The passenger identified himself as Kevin Putney. Troopers took him to his residence and later learned through an anonymous compliant March 12 that the passenger was in fact Mikael, who was on probation, and if he was found to be intoxicated, would have been in violation of his probation. With the assistance of probation, Mikael was brought in and charged.

He was issued a ticket for Lisbon Town Court.
