CARTHAGE — Logan LaFlamme struck out 12 in a complete game as South Jefferson gained a 10-5 crossover victory against Carthage in Frontier League baseball Monday.

Cody Modlin tripled, singled and drove in two runs, while Hunter Gillett knocked in two runs on two hits for South Jefferson (4-4).

Andrew Smith went 2-for-2 with two runs batted in for Carthage (2-7, 1-6).

BEAVER RIVER 6-1, THOUSAND ISLANDS 2-2

Daniel Erker drove in a pair of runs in game one as the Beavers (7-3) and Vikings split a “C” Division doubleheader at Philadelphia.

Austin Bach tossed a one-hitter and drove in a run in the second game for Thousand Islands (5-2).

SOUTH LEWIS 12, SANDY cREEK 0

Shawn Loomis finished 4-for-5 with a double and two RBIs as the Falcons blanked the Comets in a “C’’ Division game in Turin.

Jake Vanbeber was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Naythan Cobb was also 2-for-4. Jason Martin struck out 11 over five innings to earn the win.

Shane Rowell went 2-for-2 with a double for Sandy Creek (3-6).

COPENHAGEN 6, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 4

Brandon Moser struck out 11 in a complete game and provided two hits with an RBI as the Golden Knights beat the Panthers in a “D” Division game at Copenhagen.

Antonio Figueroa knocked in two runs on two hits, while Nathan Freeman doubled and singled for Copenhagen (4-1).

Jordan Sheppard drove in a pair of runs on two singles for Belleville Henderson (1-6).

LAFARGEVILLE 10, ALEXANDRIA 2

Matt Valin pitched a complete game, striking out 15, as the Red Knights posted their first win of the season with a “D” Division victory at Alexandria Bay.

Brody Price drove in two runs on three hits, including a triple, and Will Foisy added two hits and an RBI for LaFargeville (1-5).

Maverick Hunter smacked a two-run home run in the sixth inning for Alexandria (2-4).

INDIAN RIVER 7, POTSDAM 5 (9)

Dale Kirkby’s two-run double in the ninth-inning helped the Warriors earn a nonleague win over the Sandstoners in Potsdam.

William Eichner belted three doubles for Indian River (3-4).

HEUVELTON 7-18, MORRISTOWN 2-0

Mike Martin, Jack Palmer and Colin Trathen combined to limit Morristown to just two runs as Heuvelton swept a Northern Athletic Conference West Division doubleheader at Heuvelton.

Martin struck out eight in game one for the Bulldogs (6-2 overall, 6-1 division) and also went 3-for-3. Jack Palmer also tallied three hits in game one.

Jordan Macaulay led Heuvelton in game two with three hits.

Karter VanArnam picked up two hits for Morristown (2-3) in game one and added the only hit for the Green Rockets in game two.

EDWARDS-KNOX 11-3, LISBON 6-5

Kaden Dandrow singled three times in game one and added a double in game two as Edwards-Knox (2-3) split a West Division doubleheader with the Golden Knights in Lisbon.

Joey Pellerin and Jake Pellerin both lined two hits in game two for Lisbon (3-3).

HARRISVILLE 14-12, HAMMOND 1-3

Justin Hartle was the winning pitcher in game one, striking out seven, and produced three total hits as Harrisville swept the Red Devils (0-4) in a West Division game in Hammond.

Jared Dreythaler doubled twice in game one for the Pirates (6-0) and was the winning pitcher in game two. Nathan Weaver added two hits in game two for the Pirates.

BRUSHTON-MOIRA 6, NORWOOD-NORFOLK 1

Austin Tavernia picked up three hits to send the Panthers past Norwood-Norfolk (3-2) in an East Division game in Brushton.

Adam Martin lined two hits for the Panthers (3-1) and Zach Burnett went 2-for-2 and drove in four runs.

MADRID-WADDINGTON 11-9, CHATEAUGAY 2-8

Harrison VanBuren won both games, striking out nine in the opener and winning in relief in game two as the Yellow Jackets swept Chateaugay (1-4) in an East Division doubleheader in Madrid.

Van Buren tallied two hits and drove in two runs in the opener for Madrid-Waddington (5-0).

MASSENA 4-2, CANTON 0-1

Rory Corcoran struck out 10 in the opening game as the Red Raiders swept Canton (1-3) in a Central Division game in Massena.

Isaac Ward went 2-for-2 in the opener for Massena (4-0). Josh LaShomb drove in two runs for the Red Raiders in game two.

MALONE 13, SALMON RIVER 1

Jake Perry went 3-for-4, including a double, to send the Huskies past Salmon River (0-4) in a Central Division contest in Malone.

Blayke Lewis and Abe Gravell each picked up two hits for the Huskies (3-2, 2-2).

INDIAN RIVER 7, POTSDAM 5

Dale Kirkby drove with in two runs with a double in the ninth inning and William Eichner added three doubles to lead Indian River (3-4) past the Sandstoners in a nonleague game in Potsdam.

Ben Miller, Andrew Ace and Jacob Keleher each picked up two hits for Potsdam (4-1).
