WATERTOWN — A man and a woman were behind bars Wednesday after police said they made methamphetamine in a hotel room.

Amber M. Come, 26, and Eugene L. Lively, 29, whose shared address is listed as Room 202 at the Royal Inn, 25791 Route 37, Pamelia, were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug charges following a search of Room 201 at the Rodeway Inn, 652 Arsenal St., by the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force and other law enforcement.

The drug task force charged them with single counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony; unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material, a class E felony, and third-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor.

Mr. Lively also was charged with one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and Ms. Come was arrested on a parole violation. City police issued both charges and the two were arraigned in City Court. Ms. Come is being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building without bail, and Mr. Lively is being held on $5,000 bail.

They are to be arraigned on the drug task force charges in City Court at a later date.
