City must rid crows in a humane manner

I agree with Teresa Macaluso. Shooting crows certainly sends a violent message to our youngsters.

They are exposed to more than enough violence through the media. There must be more humane ways to send crows the message that they are not welcome in our city.

Crows are a part of nature, and they are very intelligent as well. They do leave a bit of a mess. But instead of the city spending so much of the taxpayers’ money’in hiring the so-called experts (who have failed to resolve the problem), why not add a position of environmental worker to the city roles?

One less person would be on the unemployment list, and the city would benefit with results to show for our taxes. Violence never results in a good outcome.
