CANTON — Author and historian Hallie Bond will be at The Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) Center on May 17 from 1 to 3 p.m., to talk about and sign copies of her new Adirondack Cookbook. Copies of the book will be available for $14.99.

Developed through collaboration between Bond and Adirondack chef Stephen Topper, the book interweaves modern interpretations of traditional recipes with discussions of regional history and traditions.

TAUNY is dedicated to showcasing the folk culture and living traditions of the North Country. The TAUNY Center and North Country Folkstore are located at 53 Main St. For more information visit www.TAUNY.org.
