Police searching for stolen Model-A Ford

CROGHAN — A 1930 Ford Model A was stolen May 2, and police are now searching for the driver of a pickup truck who may be responsible.

The car was stolen from a Texas Road residence, where the pickup truck was seen leaving shortly after the theft was discovered.

Police described the truck as blue or teal and having significant rust damage. A cable may have been hanging from the undercarriage of the truck as well.

The stolen car is dark green with black trim, yellow spoke wheel rims and chrome detailing. The seats are in poor condition.

Police released a photo of the vehicle but cautioned that it is unknown whether any changes were made after it was stolen.

Anyone with information about the stolen car or the suspicious truck is asked to call state police at 782-2112 and mention case number 5639952. All calls will remain confidential.
