BRASHER FALLS State police on Saturday charged Isaiah J. Brothers, 28, of Buckton Road, with second-degree burglary and petit larceny.
Troopers allege that about 4:30 a.m., Mr. Brothers went to his ex-girlfriends home on Days Mill Road in the town of Hopkinton, entered the residence, poured bleach on the couch, jammed the toilet and broke several pieces of furniture. The alleged victim, whose name was not released, told them that she had seen Mr. Brothers earlier that evening at the Gandy Dancer, Norwood, and that he was upset because she wouldnt talk to him.
Troopers said the arrest was made on Route 11C in the town of Stockholm.
He was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
