CLAYTON: Mary Gill Livingston, formerly of Dexter, NY and Marco Island, Fla., passed away unexpectedly at her home in Shady Shores on May 9, 2014.

Mary was born December 6, 1928 in Antwerp, NY. She graduated Antwerp High School and the Watertown School of Commerce.

She married Dr. Harold C. Livingston on March 27, 1952.

Mary is survived by her children, H. Charles Livingston Jr. and Elizabeth of Clayton, NY; James Livingston of Syracuse, NY; Kaye Livingston Studdert and Stuart of Parish, NY; Grandchildren, Chad Studdert and Virginia of Clayton, NY; Alex Studdert and Emily Waldt of Mexico, NY; Elizabeth Thorndike and Rob of Avon, Maine; Harold Charles Livingston III and Noah Lee Livingston of Clayton, NY; Great –grandchildren Colton and Callie Anne of Maine; Hannah and Riley Anne of Clayton. NY. Mary was predeceased by her husband in 2002, son John in 1958, daughter Dr. Anne Livingston April 2013; sister Jane Gill Houghton and brothers Harold and George Gill.

Mary was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Antwerp Eastern Star.

Calling hours will be 5-7 pm Thursday, May 15 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter, NY. A Memorial Service will follow. Contributions may be made to the MS Society, 6743 Kinney Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057, or a charity of your choice.
