Adirondack Foundation has launched a fund that will increase grants to Adirondack communities.
The Generous Acts Fund, with up to $45,000 available this year, directs funding toward three programs: small and significant grants, collaboration projects and big impact projects.
For the first time in our history, organizations will be able to apply directly to Adirondack Foundation for funding, Executive Director Cali E. Brooks said in a statement. This expands our grant making and offers valuable resources to the nonprofits and community groups that add to the quality of life in the Adirondack region.
Two programs are currently accepting applications online at www.generousact.org: Small & Significant and Collaborations.
Nonprofit organizations, schools and municipalities are eligible to apply. Big Impact projects do not have a public application.
Small & Significant grants range from $500 to $2,000. Organizations are encouraged to use www.adirondackgives.org in conjunction with applications to Small & Significant.
Collaborations grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 and will be targeted to organizations that are working together.
The Generous Acts programs are made possible by contributors to Adirondack Foundation.
