OBSCENITY - NORFOLK - A 25-year-old Raymondville woman was ordered held Thursday after she was charged with using a child under 17 in a sexual performance, third-degree obscenity and endangering the welfare of a child.

Massena-based state police charged Samantha L. Sipos at 12:12 p.m. Thursday at the Massena state police barracks stemming from an incident that was reported to troopers at 2:50 a.m. May 4 from the town of Norfolk.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Charles M. Krywanczyk, 33, of Morley with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:20 p.m. Thursday in the town of Canton. He was released on his own recognizance.

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - EDWARDS - Canton-based state police charged Bradley S. Phillips, 22, of Edwards with endangering the welfare of a child at 9:45 a.m. Thursday stemming from an incident reported to troopers at 1:42 p.m. May 7 from the town of Edwards. He was released on his own recognizance.

GRAND LARCENY - MORRISTOWN - Canton-based state police charged Sonja Burns, 18, of Gouverneur with fourth-degree grand larceny at 7:33 p.m. Thursday stemming from an incident reported to troopers at 6:20 p.m. April 25 from the town of Morristown. She was released on an appearance ticket.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION - RUSSELL - Gouverneur-based state police charged Michael D. Griffith, 29, of Gouverneur with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:35 p.m. Thursday on County Route 24 in the town of Russell. He was released on an appearance ticket.

DWI - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police charged Troy A. Debyah, 44, of Constable with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, no license, a windshield tint violation and no inspection certificate at 3:57 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the town of Westville. He was arraigned in local court and ordered held.
